Dorade guards are supplied without deck sockets giving the customer a choice of different deck sockets to choose from.
New this year is the 316 stainless steel Rotating Deck Socket that features the ability to rotate 360-degree with angles up to 45-degree. This feature will simplify the installation of guards on decks with any amount of camber.
Adding the sockets to the guards will require the customer to do a small amount of tube cutting to achieve the correct height for the dorade and cowl vent.

Rotating Socket for Camber Decks 90° Socket
for Flat Decks		 Weldable Socket for use with flat or cambered Decks

Guard Features:

    • Highly polished 316 Stainless Steel 1" Tubing with 0.065 wall thickness.
    • Protect cowl vents from damage.
    • Prevent lines from becoming wrapped around the cowl vents.
    • Make excellent handholds while working on deck.
    • Used to tie down extra gear such as dinghies, life rafts, sail and surfboards.
    • Can be used to secure halyards.
    • They are strong enough to stand on.

Guard Socket Features:

    • Highly polished 316 cast stainless steel for 1" OD tubing.
    • Mount to the deck with (3) #12 fasteners (not supplied).
    • Includes stainless steel backing plate.
